Radio Compass is a band based in Massachusetts. For their debut album they sought a design that captured the simplicity of their overall essence, while still keeping the hard edges of their musical genre. This was accomplished by superimposing rough typography/brand design over a serene picture of a dock space. The whimsical nature of the album title “papercuts” serves to offset the rough script font face of the band name “Radio Compass”
